1. What is WayConnect, and which teams is it designed for?
WayConnect is a connected business platform for WhatsApp communication, campaigns, shared customer support, CRM, automation, analytics, and workforce operations. It brings customer conversations and internal workflows into one workspace so teams do not have to manage the same context across disconnected tools.
It is designed for growing businesses, agencies, multi-brand operators, sales and support teams, marketing teams, and organisations that also want attendance, leave, payroll, expenses, recruitment, and employee operations in the same role-controlled environment.
2. What do I need before connecting WhatsApp to WayConnect?
You need an eligible business, an authorised Meta account, and a phone number that can be registered or connected to the WhatsApp Business Platform. During embedded signup, Meta may ask you to select or create a Business Portfolio, WhatsApp Business Account, business profile, and messaging number.
Meta controls business verification, display-name review, template approval, account quality, messaging limits, and policy enforcement. WayConnect helps you complete the connection and manage the resulting workspace, but it cannot guarantee or override a Meta approval decision.
3. Can I import existing contacts and leads?
Yes. Authorised users can add contacts manually, upload supported CSV or spreadsheet data, and receive leads through supported sources such as Meta Lead Ads, Google lead forms, Google Sheets, email parsing, APIs, and webhooks where configured.
Your business remains responsible for the accuracy and lawful collection of imported data. Before messaging someone, make sure you have the consent or other lawful authority required for the recipient, message category, and jurisdiction, and keep opt-out and suppression records up to date.
4. Can I manage multiple brands, numbers, and team members?
Yes. Plan limits permitting, WayConnect supports separate brands or workspaces, WhatsApp numbers, teams, queues, assignments, and customer journeys. This is useful for agencies, business groups, regional operations, and teams that need clear separation without losing central visibility.
Workspace owners and administrators can invite users and apply role-based permissions. Access should be limited to what each person needs, and credentials, connected accounts, API keys, and webhook secrets should never be shared informally.
5. How do campaigns, templates, and customer opt-outs work?
Campaigns use approved WhatsApp templates and eligible audience data. You can organise contacts, create segments, schedule sends, monitor delivery events, and review campaign performance subject to your plan, wallet balance, Meta account status, template approval, and channel limits.
Your business is the sender. You must identify the sender where required, use the correct message category, avoid purchased or unlawfully obtained lists, honour opt-outs promptly, and comply with Meta policies and applicable anti-spam, privacy, advertising, and consumer-protection rules.
6. What can WayConnect automation and AI assistance do?
WayConnect can route conversations, assign owners, send configured replies, trigger workflow steps, qualify leads, assist with response drafting, and use selected workspace context to support an authorised user. Available automation and AI capabilities depend on your plan, configuration, connected services, and usage balance.
AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before it is sent or used for a business decision. Do not submit unnecessary secrets or sensitive personal information, and do not use automated output as the sole basis for unlawful high-impact decisions involving employment, finance, health, housing, insurance, or legal rights.
7. Which integrations and developer tools are available?
Depending on the feature and plan, WayConnect can connect with Meta messaging channels and lead ads, Google lead forms and Sheets, Microsoft Excel workflows, email-based lead capture, payment services, webhooks, and developer APIs. Availability can vary as third-party platforms change their APIs, permissions, reviews, pricing, or policies.
API and webhook users should verify signatures, protect secrets, use idempotency where supported, handle retries safely, and monitor delivery or error logs. A connected service remains governed by its own terms and may require separate accounts, approvals, or charges.
8. What is included in the workforce and HR operations suite?
The workforce suite can support employee records, attendance and location-aware check-ins, shifts, leave, payroll preparation, tax and salary records, expenses, recruitment, visitors, assigned assets, and employee documents. Exact limits and availability depend on the selected plan and workspace configuration.
The customer remains the employer or responsible organisation. It must provide required workplace and privacy notices, restrict sensitive records, define lawful retention, verify payroll outputs, and comply with employment, tax, labour, monitoring, location, and data-protection requirements.
9. How does WayConnect protect workspace and customer data?
WayConnect uses measures such as secure authentication, encrypted network connections, workspace-level access controls, role-based permissions, protected credentials, audit and security events, and restricted operational access. Some sensitive provider credentials and AI-related fields are protected at rest in the application architecture.
No online system can promise absolute security. Customers should use strong unique passwords, secure their devices and recovery methods, review user access regularly, protect API and webhook secrets, export important records when needed, and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.
10. How do plans, message credits, cancellation, refunds, and support work?
Self-serve subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected monthly, quarterly, or yearly cycle. WhatsApp messaging and supported usage charges are handled through a separate prepaid wallet and are not included in the subscription fee unless checkout or a written Order Form expressly says otherwise. Applicable taxes and the final total are shown during checkout.
You can cancel renewal from the available billing controls; paid access normally continues until the current term ends. Fees are generally non-refundable after a paid period or usage begins, subject to billing errors, an approved written exception, and rights that cannot be excluded by law. Review the Refund & Cancellation Policy for full conditions or contact WayConnect from an authorised account email for help.
